  Prior bottle was just over five months ago, so my notes were quite similar. White apple and white peach along with pear and citrus on the nose; the combination was quite pretty. Medium bodied showing white apple and white peach upfront, with highlights of pear. The mid-body continues to show impressively with the white upfront notes giving way to yellow apple and yellow peach, back with white tropical qualities that are starting to reveal themselves. These elements are all bound together with citrus, tart whitefruit and acidity on the back and through the finish. This gave the wine structure as well as providing acidity-jacketed definition to the mid-body fruit notes. These contrasts made for a very enjoyable bottle and also suggest a good number of years of life ahead. I'll certainly purchase more if the opportunity presents.

  White apple, pear, citrus and some peach notes on the nose. Medium bodied (8% ABV) with white peach, white apple and pear upfront. Broadens through the middle, adding additional white peach along with some hints of yellow peach as well as some other, richer notes, hiding in the background. Acidity is excellent and noticeably more vibrant than the 2009. Also shows more in the way of contrasting citrus qualities (tart orange, tart lemon and lime). Finish has more length as a result and the mid-body fruit feels better defined. Overall, I'd say to my personal tastes, I liked the 2010 more, but felt they were ultimately equivalent (roughly) in terms of general excellence. The 2010 has more acidity, more citrus qualities and more tart notes while the 2009 had a bit more complexity of fruit notes and was a bit richer. The 2010 will have a longer life and while I'd like to say I'll save my next bottle until at least June 2022, given how well this wine is drinking now, it's quite possible I'll open it sooner.

  Quick note. This was terrific. Surprisingly fresh, with a still vibrant acid line cutting the stone fruit and sweetness. Full-bodied (for a riesling), yet supple.

  Family brunch, no TN.
  This was stunning: great complexity (lots of citrus fruit), very sharp and energizing, barely sweet. A wonderful Spaetlese.

  Opened by a guest at Allred's. This had a nice unctuous quality with some lovely petrol, stone fruit and an unusual touch of Sage and Rosemary that I can't remember ever encountering before. Just gorgeous.
