I’m sad I drank it now. Could have easily lasted another year or 2. Was cellared at 57 degrees. Bold and tight flavors and texture. Fruity, lip-smacking tannic. A delicious tasting.

Outstanding. Nice touch of mint on the finish. Big wine that kept getting better with more dark fruits over the 90 minutes we drank it. Delicious. Not sure if it can get better than it is drinking right now

This was a very nice example of Spanish garnacha on night #1, with cherry and oaky vanilla and a real depth, though too much heat to be outstanding. But the surprise was on night #2 when I could have easily mistaken it for Alto Moncayo with a touch of San Roman Toro. Alcohol gone, now leather joins the flavor profile and I'm entranced. If you like this style of wine, it's an incredible bargain.

CT Texas VI - Return to San Antonio; 10/18/2013-10/19/2013 (San Antonio): Served double blind. On the nose, bright red fruits, leather, spice, bit of heat. On the palate leathery with rich red fruit, herbs, spice, vanilla. Finishes with chewy tannins and some nice acidity, the heat up front disappeared. Guessed Garnacha FWIW. Like Tres Picos, hard to beat the value here.
