Mark's Rose Offline - part deux (Passione Vino): Very juicy and vinous - like a mature red Burg from a cooler vintage, but thinned out (that's not a pejorative!). Long, herbal, with a touch of smoke and some bite to it.

Wasn't sure how this would show having given up on them 2-3 years ago when they were quite astringent and disjointed. The wine has really come into its own now though. Absolutely delicious, classy red fruit with lovely balance and harmony. Good persistence on the finish. Shame I only have 1 left now!

Over the hill. This has not developed, but rather degraded and oxidized - the fruit is gone and it has lost all semblance of freshness. Unfortunate as this had real potential to age.

Likely beginning its decline. Still quite enjoyable with dew laden wild berries, fresh green herbs, and savory spiced florals. Wet slate and fading acidity hold onto the finish. Time to drink up!

Superb rose. Fruit fading, but mature earthy notes starting to come through. I wish I had more of this to see how it would be in another year.
