Opened for to make a white wine sauce for chicken and drink alongside the meal. As in our April note, this is a simple, generally solid chardonnay for near-term drinking. This bottle seemed less lively than I remember the last one, especially as it warmed, so I'd get to these soon if you have any on hand.

Consumed over ~2 hours at room temp. Basic impressions were of lemony citrus notes with a little bitterness and something just slightly musky or nutty. Decent acidity. At the price point, a fine basic all-around chard for near-term drinking.

Color: Pale canary yellow Smell: Crushed rocks, quince, lemon, and green apple Taste: This offers up a melange of citrus, mineral, and pear Overall: This really delivers for the price point! Lovely...light-medium body, vibrant fruits, brisk acidity, and moderate complexity with a nice lingering finish. I would GLADLY BUY AGAIN for $13.99

No formal notes. Nice body, acidity, with some minerals. Good QPR.
