Drank with Christmas Dinner. Still held up very well with a soft finish and fairly full body. The wine looks ruby-colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry and raspberry. It tastes like cherry and mineral. The body is light/medium. The wine has a smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

2/2, very good cork. Decnated 1/2 hr. Medium/deep garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose shows sour red cherry, spice with a touch of soil. Fresh. Medium/full bodied, fresh and vibrant, firm but fine tannins still present, red cherry fruit, spice, vibrant verging on crisp acidity, decent length spicy, fresh finish. Drinking now and for perhaps another 5 years.

The nose here is quite different than the 2010 Castell'In Villa I just tried - this has a little dash o' funk on the nose, and is more red-fruited than the first wine, and at least on opening, I find this to be a little more interesting.
Clearly more acidity than the Castell as well, although not as expansive on the palate. Blind, I would be calling this a younger wine.

A day 2 note; I don’t often think about aging the Felsina CC, but every once in a while, I lose a bottle in the cellar. This is drinking very nicely today, with earthy red fruit on the nose. Good acidity and persistence on the palate. Hard to argue with this.
