Similar to many other recent notes from others. Very ethereal and pure. Silky deep red fruit. Long fruit-driven finish. Underbrush tones. Beat the ‘95 by a smidgen IMO. If I’m splitting hairs, this comes across a touch generic as the ethereal and underbrush character is similar to an aged red burgundy. 96-97

A big and powerful La Mouline with an incredibly silky texture and layer upon layer of delicous flavors of black fruits, hung game and campfire char. Showing quite youthfully with great coiled power and perfect balance. This is going to be monumental in time. 97++

I love the combination of the roasted, slightly gamey nose and the wave after wave of cool, focused, perfectly-delineated blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry fruit on the palate, augmented by potpourri. The textural qualities are superb and while there are no concerns about longevity, this is drinking so perfectly now.

Stunning once again. I began writing a TN and realized I was using the same description as my last one. So I’ll just reference that note, this time paired great with skirt steak

Gave it a short decant. Opened up with more time. Next time give it at least a 4 hour decant.
