A little bummed as this was really outclassed by the Von Hovel Spatlese. The Bougros showed some mineral, orchard fruit and stone, but the 2009 seemed to lack the great acidity that 2008 brought. A very clean wine and enjoyable though.

Opulent and smooth orchard fruit and pitted fruits with scents of acacia and other white flowers. Serious minerals and good acidity frame this GC from a warm vintage out very nicely. Beautiful finish. Enjoyed with Coq au Vin, and also had a bottle of Fixin village. Very enjoyable evening.

Excellent young bottle of Bougros. Serious sea shell and saline with sublime orchard fruits of apple and peaches. White florals, great touch of citrus acidity, ending with a long smooth finish. Very little new oak makes this a pleasure to drink now. Sub $35. Again Excellent.
