Even though this wine has a slight amount of sweetness, the overwhelming flavor component is acid. From the nose through the finish, a considerable amount of raw, full throttled acidity is forefront. To my palate, so much acid, it affects the balance. The color is clearish golden. The nose has the smell of slight oxidation with honeysuckle, pear and citrus. Does not have the super rich viscosity of it's German cousins. When the acid clears the palate, a very nice honeyed pear meets citrus flavor coats the roof of the mouth.

At Rat's restaurant for our 20th. Had this as a glass/aperitif. On balance very nice, green apple, pears, melon. medium finish, lower acidity and not much structure. Nice enough, not built to age.

Lots of peach on the nose with a bit of melon and sunflower kernel. Smells good. The RS shows on contact with slightly tart peach and melon flavors, but without the acidity I was expecting. It's a good wine, great on the nose, but seems a bit flat to me on the palate. A little more acidity could have gone a long way.

Much better than expected. Fruity. Sweet. Even sweeter is that this is only $10.
