Opened and poured. Explosive jammy aromas leapt out of the glass....in the mouth, not as fruity, much more restrained and classy. Archetypal briars and blacks, with velvety smoothness that was unexpected. With air, the explosive fruits on the palate wore off, rendering a highly drinkable if not overly remarkable zin. Solid, easy drinking.

Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about two hours.
Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of saddle leather, thatch, floral notes and mixed dark fruits. Flavors of black berries, boysenberries and a hint of either red plum or red cherry. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. I say drink now.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of lavender, boysenberry, spice and plum. Flavors of boysenberry, berries and strawberries. Medium to tangy acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. I'd lean towards drink.

Drank at Suttons for Thanksgiving. Think this was the crowd favorite. So claret-like, but with full forward zin flavor. And alcohol well masked. Really nice drinking.
