A little air seems to bring out the ripeness of the fruit best. The nose is cherry and marzipan and a little confected. The palate is bright but slightly sour cherry fruit, nice acidity and decent length for the price. Good everyday drinking here.

Peppery nose with some bright, if not particularly vivid, cherry flavours. Tartish attack on the palate, followed by the typical bitter twist across the middle and a slight sweet hint of marzipan, with a defined, linear presentation of these elements. This isn't an immediately head turning wine, but I really appreciate its firm structure and food-friendliness.
+ 24 hours. Noticeable improvement on first tasting, with cherry flavors and sweetness emphasized, and savory flavors diminished, but still present and somehow richer, almost meaty.

All about dark cherry - colour, nose and palate - taking on a pleasantly slightly bitter finish. A good example of the type, will never be a show-stopper but great value mid-week drinking.
