Resolved and perhaps at the edge of the cliff, but certainly not over it yet, nor even at the stage of clinging on - just a lovely, easy autumnal Pinot, and a great accompaniment to Bouef Bourgignon.

Checking in after a few years in the cellar, this one has finally broken down and become sociable. Decanting helped, too, as there was a bit of sediment. Fragrant spiced cherry nose confirmed on palate, deeper and enriched over a couple years in the cellar. Long finish, and easy to enjoy. Patience rewarded on a $35 purchase.

Purchased on release from PA State Store. Unfortunately, mildly tainted. Beyond the taint, still very taut and vigorous. Here's hoping the remaining two will show.

Decanted three hours. Strong nose, menthol and herbs. Strong, powerful, with tastes of sour cherry, eucalytpus, cinnamon, and earth. Kind of rough texture, long finish. Even after decanting three hours the flavors are still a little hidden. Outstanding drinkable burg but it could use a little more time in the cellar to soften.
