Pretty much pop and pour. Very little nose to speak of, slightest hint of barnyard. On palate its a bit thin, sour cherries, rasberries, bright red fruit. Pleasant acidity. Slight hint of raisin came in after a half hour, but I didn't find it offensive. Pleasant enough stuff.
At a tasting at the Wine Club SF: this is the second time I've tasted this wine, and I'm embaressed to say that I don't remember what vintage the other one was, as I did not take any notes. But the good news is that my sense memory is about the same for both vintages: mediocre. Raisin nose and raisin taste on the palate, but the ensemble just doesn't work for me.
