  De color oro viejo, con sensación de grosor, reflejos dorados.
  
  Nariz suave y conjuntada, de carácter muy tradicional. Hay notas de ceras, especias orientales (cúrcuma, clavo, nuez moscada, canela) con un recuerdo de fruta reducida que va ganando presencia al respirar. Complejo y muy elegante, con una curiosa expresión mineral de fondo, a tiza. No parece haber cambiado mucho en los últimos años.
  
  En boca es grueso, seco, redondo. Todo esta en su sitio y además sobresale su excelente acidez. Parece haber llegado a su cima aunque se mantiene en un momento muy interesante. Para beber en los próximos dos años y disfrutarlo en plenitud.

  Permanece durante 4 años en barricas de roble americano de 225 litros. Sometido a 2 trasiegas manuales cada año. Clarificado con claras de huevos frescos. Embotellado directamente de la barrica sin filtrar. Producción limitada a 15.600 botellas.

  The absolute best bottle I've had of Gravonia in the dozen or so I've opened from 1989 to 1996 vintages. This just kept expanding in the glass with aromas so good you don't want to take the first sip. But then when I did, I couldn't stop drinking. Silky texture, so well balanced, incredible depth, that slightly tannic/bitter finish. Wow. At $25, this is one of the best valued white wines in the world.
