It would be hard for us to find fault with this beautifully aged River Block. Pale yellow color, nice floral pear nose, medium weight, perfect balance, rich without overdoing it, a bit of herb, very smooth non-acidic finish. We still have 4 bottles to enjoy over the couple of years. A perfect match with wild caught Alaskan King salmon pan fried. Probably should have a French wine on Bastille Day but our celebration will come next week with many friends.

Still going strong and just a beautiful Chardonnay.

Fully mature and drinking well, but probably nearing the end of its high plateau. A beautiful, rich Chardonnay.

Still drinking well, but won’t improve with more age and is probably nearing the end of its drinking plateau.
