Lovely amber/golden color. The nose was wonderful -- honeysuckle, apricots, cinnamon, and a touch of botrytis. A touch oily, some muted acidity. Unfortunately, there's not much structure and the wine falls apart on the palate. Muted finish.
Beautiful amber color. Cinnamon, sweet spices, over-ripe apricots, and some botrytis. Just the faintest touch of oxidation. Viscous on the palate and wish there was more acidity. Lots of interesting components here but they just don't really come together as well as they could/should.

(Heyl zu Herrnsheim Rehbach Riesling Beerenauslese) Great colour. Botrytis here, honey and apricots, and evident richness. Complexity too, a mineral depth, great weight and the structure to support it all. Plush and velvety, rich with rocky botrytis character on the palate, although the sweetness has faded to a balanced state. Lovely, stylish wine. Drink now. Excellent.
