  • Light in color for a red - almost orange. Nice nose of fruit and licorice. Thin without much legs. Easy drinking wine with good mix of fruit, oak, spice and zesty flavors. Classic Rioja style.

  • Tasty vino.
Light ruby in color. Descent color extraction.
    Nose of cranberry, cinnamon.
Low tannins, moderate acidity, moderate low alcohol.
Mild earthyness, but can't get the cranberry out of my head.
    I like.

  • Initially a very funky, mushroomy (thanks Rebecca) nose. Soft on the palate, tastes old and tired, with a pronounced fungal/mushroom flavor. But with time and patience, these aromas blew off to reveal a delicate, wonderful, if surprisingly advanced wine. Lovely light cherry liqueur with leather and earth. But beware, as this had a relatively brief plateau and then went downhill in a hurry. On day two, to my surprise a small amount of leftovers have not only survived but are in splendid shape with a clean, fresh aromatic profile and nice sweet-tart sappy red fruits, fennel and dried herbs on the palate. A very perplexing wine.
