This had the most development, with dry leaves, undergrowth, wet-earth scents rising from the glass with a short swirl... Herbs, more earth on the palate, but it just couldn't hold for long - went downhill after 20+ mins or so. Nice drink, but don't hold too long in the glass...

(Chat Pontet Canet) VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark, really nice; NOSE-armpit, barley soup mixed w/ locker room, Dunkin Donut coffee; TASTE-green asparagus, very dry, food wine, mushroom soup, great mouth feel, acidity still very strong; still very youthful (if blind tested I would have thought it was 2001), very rich, medium body, red beet meets asparagus on the finish, nice but not profound; RP-86; GV-89

Korken i god forfatning. Ikke trukket gjennom.
Fargesterk. Mørk rød. Orange i kantene.
Lukt domineres av mørke solbær. Uventet frisk i forhold til aleren.
Mørke godt modne solbær på smak. Godt med moden bløt frukt. Lite tanniner. Velbalansert. Ikke så fremtredende syre.
Har klart alderen meget bra, tror det hadde holdt en del år til. Hadde forventet litt mer kompleksitet på en så gammel vin.

2023 Napa in the City: Gala Dinner (The Pool in NYC): Drinking really nicely. All old leather and very secondary but with that classiness and verve that comes from the 82 vintage. Enjoyable.
