Fragrant with violets, dark fruits, wet stone, dustiness, liquorice and underbrush. Body lighter than expected, rounded but still present tannins, good acidity. Nice Bdx, looks younger than its age.

Medium ruby color. Aromas of cherry, blackcurrant, graphitis, smoked meat, cedar, forest floor. Medium+ acidity, fully integrated tannins, medium bodied, ripe palate, taste of dark cherry and currants. In very sweet spot now.

9th of 12, pnp, perfect cork and level, not as strong a showing as last June's fab bottle, toasted oak flavours a bit too prominent, underlying class and attractive fruit, little upside now, but no rush. F (17.5).

Similar to previous bottle nine months ago. Mid to full ruby. Classic cigar box and tobacco nose. Densely silky with good mid red fruit, nicely balanced structure with elegant line. Decent finish. Classic Graves. Decanted 90mins but surprisingly little sediment in this bottle. Holds well over the course of the evening. ****

Fantastic aroma and gorgeous flavour, beautiful colour, everything is in the right place! A nice drink from the unique Pessac-Léognan region. Drink within the next five years as a safety precaution.
