Club Tasting: Summer Chef Tour,Brandy Fernow (Gibby's): Certified organic, this is done in 100% stainless. Pale yellow color with notes of honeysuckle flowers and cotton, followed by soft citrus tones. Flavors of pears, apple and minerals, with a slightly tinny tone on the finish.
Fairly lush nose of pineapple and lemon following through on the palette. Reminds me of Alto Adige a little bit. But falling a little short on acidity for me. I like a little bit more zing. Still a decent bottle, but there are other offerings at this price point that are more impressive, the Adelsheim Pinot Gris 2005 for example.
