  This wine is in a perfect drinking window right now but will still hold. Mid crimson, aromas of smoked hay, wild strawberries and a hint of licorice.
  The tannins are round and ripe with well integrated red fruit character. Nothing is out of place - it is medium bodied and complex with good palate length.

  Gorgeous robust nose! Lots of dark fruit flavors, good spice, pretty long finish for a 10 year old vintage. Not having tasted this wine when it was younger, I can't compare to its earlier years. But the consensus was that it has aged very well! We liked it a lot!
