Tenth Annual White Truffle Dinner (Chez Weber - Chicago IL): This has been a very inconsistent wine, but tonight's bottle was probably the best I've had in years. Lots of ripe apple with plenty of stone fruit, particularly on the palate. Intense, long and very powerful.

Birthday Dinner with Good Wine (NEXT Restaurant - Chicago IL): Popped and poured. Age appropriate level of maturity. Lots of ripe stone fruit with very charming spice. Very enjoyable today, but slightly short of energy and I wouldn't risk cellaring many of these long-term.
Acker "Paulee" Burgundy Dinner (The Fourth - New York NY): Slightly oxidized.
La Paulee "Warm-up" Dinner (RN74 - San Francisco CA): Not undrinkable but far more mature than this wine should be at this age. Perhaps "88 points" tonight.
Initially I thought perhaps a bit corked. This seemed to blow off. Great volume, concentration and depth on the palate. Rich, long. Adequate acidity. Quite nice.
