(Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses) A wine sourced from Fèvre vineyards, hence Domaine William Fèvre. A pale golden hue in the glass. The nose is maturing nicely, and first and foremost it is free of any signs of oxidation. There is a touch of honeycomb and oatmeal, but also complex and slightly sweaty aromas of cheese and biscuit. Full and textured on the palate, rich, with a complex depth of aromas like the nose, but also a blend of creamed stone fruits with a citrus twist, Fresh, well structured, slightly sour in terms of fruit character, but with a soft creamy texture behind the grip. Lovely wine, delicious now, but with room for improvement.
