Dark garnet in color with no bricking. Sediment is fine and visible. Notes of dark dry fruits on the nose. Raisins and prunes are popping. Some kirsch, and jamminess too. Meaty and farmyard notes as well. Dry and full on the palate. Tannins are medium minus and of silky texture. The finish is medium plus. Yeah this is already on the other side of the curve. Time to drink up.

Rating based on second day when it opened up and softened considerably. Some minerality, ink and black tea qualities in a long finish. WHen it softened, the black cherry compote type fruit blended in beautifully. A bit harsh the first night.

Needed about one hour to open up. Terrific nose of vanilla and butterscotch. Restrained fruit reminiscent of cherries and and raspberries with slight minerality on the long finish.

Fantastic bottle. Nose is a bit different from previous. Popped and poured using an aerator. Dark chocolate and ripe cherries on nose. Dark fruit on palate integrated tannins very soft with long finish at its peak now.

fantastic PQR. Popped and poured through an aerator; Nose haas fresh scented minerality almost like dew on a meadow. There is ripe berry and cinnamon initially leading to a voluptuous mouthfeel and soft tannins on the finish that lingers. A great wine glad I have two more.
