  • Seems mature. Good minerally and crisply cutting burg. Steely, lemony but not fruity.

  • Light yellow. In the nose, this is extremely tart with lots of lemon peel, somewhat ethereal notes, hints of Kiwi, lemon juice, rather nervy and austere. Similar to other white Pernand-Vergelesses, but I don't know if this is really my style. On the palate, this is rather austere as well, nicely mineralic, muscular and slender at the same time, like an Ethiopian 10,000 m runner. It has good structure though. Bone dry. I think it's really well made in its style, but that style is not 100% for me.

  • Somewhat on the lighter side of the chardonnay spectrum. A little more tart then I would like. Not much oak and no real signs of malolactic fermentation (which gives a nice buttery texture). If this is your style of chardonnay then you may like it. It's a well made wine but not my personal cup of tea.
