A good quality light dry red for solid summer lunch drinking. Not overly varietal with some red fruits, oak-driven spice and creaminess. Full fruited, satisfying.

Brought to a late, long lunch by Bill and was the last bottle opened .... so no detailed notes taken. Deep red and totally opaque in colour. Rich, fruit-driven nose. Dense, satisfying red fruits palate with surprisingly little acidity. Some length. This is the deep, thick, chewy end of the Pinot Noir spectrum. Needs a couple more years to really guage it properly but still very enjoyable now.

Nose of black cherry cola with subtle earth and spice. Not much complexity on the palate with soft dark fruit and plum flavors. Moderate acidity and a short-medium finish.

Gone baby gone. Probably could have consumed it, but it would have required effort.
