  Nose: sweet plums, a touch of wood floor and cedar. Taste: medium full body, velvety texture, alcohol slightly above average, tannins a bit high - needs decanting. Fruit (plums and figs), black tea as well as wood chips on the palate. Medium long fruity aftertaste. Quite pleasant, particularly from the value for money perspective.

  Really surprisingly good - esp. for the price. Bright fruit like a Napa wine, but a Bordeaux flavor profile with spice and tobacco. I liked it a lot.

  OK but lacks something - maybe a bit more fruit. Still almost half the bottle left which is never a good sign for how much wife or I liked it. Currant, plum, coffee. Finishes with iron tinge, coffee, and earth. Bit too acidic as well.

  Plum fruits and cocoa powder. Took a half hour to open up and continued to improve over two hours time. I regret it was my last bottle.

  dark fruits with a little red layered on top. some dust and graphite to make it interesting. nice acidity and noticeable tannins on the palate.
