Perfect body and taste for thanksgiving turkey and sides. Medium brick red, med body, nose of cranberries, verbena, herbs, and earth, taste cranberries, wild berries - linden berry?, fresh boysenberry, hazelnut, allspice, sage and other Mediterranean herbs. Fabulous

Decanted for 1,5 hour. This is just lovely on the nose. I've got very ripe plums, nice minerality, tobacco and some chalkiness. On the palate, this is medium-full bodied, elegant, classy with refined tannins and medium-long aftertaste. I really like how ripe fruits match the minerality of this wine. It needs to be decanted for at least 3 hours, otherwise you might feel some unplesant bitterness at the end. This is really good! Recommended. 90+

Very dark and brooding for hours not wanting to come to the light. With coaxing this shows complex herbal, ashy elements with very good balance. Still waking up. Check back in a year or two.

Crushed rocks, or maybe hot rocks, sit next to an ethereal lightness. Still has lots of body, fruit, earth, and low-toned spices (think cumin and coriander seed). Complex. Has a feel like a fantastic burgundy with a flavor profile that reminds me of a new world nebbiolo. This is a wine I'd like to check out again.

Much better than the last two bottles I've had of this. Nose and palate of crushed rocks and leather, sleek texture, complex, polished and very satisfying.
