  • Immaculate storage can also help develop more challenging vintages over a long period! This bottle was purchased upon release and stored in an ice cold cellar with constant 6°C, 42°F. And it really showed, even more than the 1962 next to it. From regular storage I assume this is by now completely undrinkable, but from this bottle this was actually quite pleasant.

The cool vegetal notes did indicate a lesser vintage, but there was some interesting cold ash, bbq sauce and red berries mix that was intriguing and actually quite fun to drink. This wine as well maintained over several hours of air

  • Danish bottling. The wine has a healthy deep red color with only slight brick color on the rim. It starts off quite OK, with some cassisfruit and minerals. Dark cellar notes take over after a while and make this wine undrinkable. Corked?? To bad - this could have been a good one.
