(Reichsgraf Von Kesselstat Scharzhofberger Kabinett Feinherb) This was a wine all about nuance and finesse. It had classic Scharzhofberger aromas of lime, grapefruit (pink?), chalk, minerals and some stone pit fruit flesh. The palate was wonderfully elegant and finessed with lovely citrus and pit fruits. Very mineral though. There was sap and an uncanny precision. Beautifully focused wine that you need to pay attention to or it will pass you by. Really needs a day to open up but is worth the wait.
