  Tondonia Tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Surprised how good this still was! Deep golden in color. Savoury, mushrooms, smoke, dried mango, white fruit. Still fruit left. Medium+ acidity, medium finish. Continuously changing in the glass. After 20m declining
  
  90% Viura, 10% Malvasia

  Color amarillo dorado con una suave tonalidad anaranjada, bien brillante y limpio, y gruesa lágrima. Nariz inicialmente cerrada pero que con el tiempo se va abriendo y muestra una buena intensidad con aromas de fruta blanca bien madura (compota de peras y manzanas), toques de fruta de hueso (albaricoques) y orejones frescos, finas notas de maderas viejas con toques avainillados, dátiles, miel, flores secas, sensaciones de incienso y jengibre de fondo. Cremosa y suave entrada en boca con un recorrido de cuerpo medio, buena amargosidad que aporta cierta estructura, fina textura y untuoso, ligero y sabrosa fruta blanca madura con toques de orejones, miel, buena acidez, buen volumen, amplio, toque de pimienta blanca, maderas cremosas y suaves toques lácteos, fina textura y sedoso, elegante y buena persistencia. Final medio-largo, postgusto de fruta blanca madura y retronasal suavemente ahumado.

  interesting, but not great. its not sherry and its not old tasting, but it lacks the momentum of big whites. good as aperetif with something salty. for 11 euros though, whos complaining. has sort of a freak value-conversation piece - 25 year old white wine...

  A private tasting: Bright medium yellow; wonderful nose, a symphony of wood, fruit, herbs and vinosity, complex, deep and classic; on the palate elegance and finesse, complex, juicy, smooth texture, beautifully rounded; very long. Excellent wine.
