  17th Annual Lyon 10 Year Retrospective (The Lyon's Tree House): Apparently my idiosyncratic distaste for Italian acids showed up when I tasted this blind, as I made a "face" that I was unaware of. There's black cherry, cassis, leather, and earth notes of medium depth. Same on day 2. Others liked it more.

  A substantial wine that need time to open up. The nose is dark fruit and blackberry with interesting subtle earth tones. ON the palate it eventuial developed a powerful complexity. "What a shame" PDQ93
