Very aromatic, dark toned, still rather oaky. Black cherry, raspberry, some forest floor. Quite nice, but I'd still wait for another 2-3 years for the oak to integrate better, and it's got enough to keep it going.
This wine is like poetry in a bottle. It was everything I look for in a red wine. A very seductive nose composed of ripe blueberries, a hint of mint and cedar and something reminiscent of vanilla orchid (weird description, but it was just so intoxicating on the nose). Great concentration of black and blue fruits on the palate, but so elegant and so smooth because the tannins and the acid are very much integrated. All the components are in harmony. A special treat and worthy of seeking out. I believe the wine is drinking at its peak now and no further aging is required. Drink up!
Nose has soft aromas with minerality. A bit red berries like raspberry, but also vegetables exist. Well balanced taste, acidity on good level. Follows the nose with red berries. Quite warming at the end and medium length.
