My first sparkling, traditional method Grüner Veltliner. Vigorous petillage. Med intensity green apple, lemon, green herbs, honeydew melon. 12 mos of aging on lees. Dry, but w/ a generous 8 g/L RS. Med+ to high acidity and med alcohol (12.5%). Light-bodied, with med to med+ flavor intensity and length. Drink now, not likely to improve with further aging. Great by itself or with a wide variety of foods, this is an unpretentious yet delicious and interesting alternative to higher-priced Cremant and Prosecco.

Very interesting and despite the acid rich Veltiner no harshness but tones and memories of Pannionia. Love it! No phoney brut naturell but charming mouthfeel.
