  REBUY - YES, Had with Salmon, Still needs time. After the wine was opened, the aromas opened up. Good tannins, lots of red fruit. Good finish. The wine needs time.

  From jerobaum. Wow, this is very nice, exceeding all expectations after a couple so-so btls of the 05 Potel Volnay V.V. quite some time ago (which I am now inspired to revisit). Classic volnay nose of violets and dark plummy fruit. In the mouth, the texture was also spot on volnay and everything is in perfect balance. Long delicate finish. Tres classy. While this will never be a d'Angerville this is a very well wine and a perfect example of what burgundy does best. Sadly, ½ the jerobaum went to waste.
