despite an average vintage, we've appreciated this bottle for its global equilibrium, finesse Rubis hue , matte, nose of red fruit jam and dried leaves, melted tannins Classic Haut-Medoc

Game and graphite, mild tobacco and wet stones. Despite the vintage it is actually quite nice. Médocaine, somewhat light but overall pretty good. I’d say it’s on its last legs though, so good to drink now.

Definetly exceeds expectations for the poor vintage, nice drinking, smooth Medoc. Worth the waiting. Nota bene: paid just 16,95 Euro for it at Auchan Hypermarket back in 2009.

Cellared since release. 5th of 6. So lets be clear this is a consistent producer from a very poor vintage. Last note was 2017 declaring this a awkward and disjointed wine. I thought it was time to see if it could cure itself, the answer is no....but....lets say what it is.....deep garnet, classic cassis, both red and black fruit, sweet leather, a bit of green on the nose. Med tannins, with acid ruling the day on the palate. Served with lamb and complemented well. Look this is 2007 and in that light it probably exceeds expectations. Complemented meal adequately. This will not get better. I am not surprised. In many ways shows what a good producer can do in a bad vintage. My last bottle will find a steak in the next two months, and I will be satisfied. I can not imagine this wine being in any way pleasant in another 2 years. Enjoy today for what it is....drink now. BTW if you do not like Bordeaux a 87/88 rating will be seen as high...I just love Bordeaux and lamb.

This definitely exceeded expectations. Classic Bordeaux but with more plush fruit than I was expecting given the vintage. Drink or hold a little longer. Great value at 15 euros or so.
