{screwcap, 13.5%} As it turned out I drank my last bottle of this way sooner than I expected. It was predictably similar to last year's effort; still rich and surprisingly primary in its plummy blueberry flavours. Subtle oak, dense but not sweet. Very drinkable now. Medium-bodied, longish finish. Very fine in a richer style than typically 'Hunter'.

Post Tyrrell's Dinner @ GC: 100% Shiraz this vintage. Bright nose with raspberry, pepper, redcurrant, violet and spearmint. Good balance on the palate, the flavours flow well and this has very good composure. Really smart wine that is developing very well.

{screwcap, 13.5%} Nicely developing and still rich nose of mulberry and blueberry. It's a bit more blackberry on the medium-bodied palate, with a rich and spicy texture. Only low-level oak; it's a seasoning at most, not a flavour. Medium tannin and acid. Structurally this is pretty well perfect, with flavour all along the tongue. Finish medium/long and dry. Yought to age gloriously for another decade at least.

This shows off the great 2007 vintage. And it's singing at 10 years of age. Plummy, earthy nose. Bright red berries to taste. Tannins are gracious. The balance is perfect. I could drink this every night of the week.

Well balanced. Almost no oak. Fruit still very evident. This wine is ready to drink now.
