For me showing clinically dead, but after two days there was some remaining life in the wine with a certain chambolle style. Absolutely not impressive; hope to retaste this wine once.

Stunning nose w/intense forest floor and sweet red fruits; in the mouth it leads w/this sort of tobacco leaf, briary, flavor, very pure red fruit comes after, and then at the finish that goes on and on a slightly baking spice chimes in. A beauty, and you could drink it now “on the fruit,” as someone on cellartracker says, or hold it for another 5-10 years. This is Burg I could drink for the rest of time.

(Perrot-Minot Christophe Chambolle-Musigny) Medium colour. Lovely width on the nose, sensual and very pretty. High-toned fruit in the mouth, structured and very, very tasty. Really lingers - this is a rare villages wine that’s close to 2005 quality.

Cherries and sweetness in the nose, combined with some spices and earthiness in the taste, good backbone of acids. Solid.

Brownish, beautiful fruit with spices and sweetness. Tannins and acids beautiful integrated. Enjoy!

Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind. Lots of SO2 that made it impossible to assess in the time available at the tasting table. Good sweet underlying fruit, good textures.
