  I am happy to report that this wine was not completely past its prime. That being said, I would drink it up soon. For the price, it fought above its weight. Plenty of cherry and brush. I would describe like a Rosso di Montalcino with a couple a years of age.

  Barnyard, earthy, lots of red fruit, delicious and big wine although may have been even better if I had decanted it. Screwtop confused everyone.

  Smokey, earthy, black fruit, some berry. Delicious with Pasta, vodka sauce, chicken and Italian sausage and black pepper. Drank over several days and held up.

  Nice, PnP and purchased just tonight. A little sediment. Nice fruit and opened up after about 60 minutes. Wish store had some more of the 2007.

  An overall well balanced wine. Shows off the cabernet structure and blackfruit flavors to begin, adding in just enough of the sangiovese based red fruit some brightness and balance. Tannins are integrated and lead to a smooth finish. This wine is at peak and it continues to drink extremely well. I expect it to stay at this level for a few more years.
