  • Vive la France: Paris et l'Yonne; 8/11/2015-8/22/2015 (France): A wine that draws attention from the outset with a deep ruby color and high layer . Completely transparent and limpid. Almost no sediment at all which is almost unthinkable in many aged wines.
Tondonia impressively austere nose with that recognizable style, full of minerals and coal touches plus leather with wood and wet stones.
The palate is some meat and earthy of notes fungi. Still a sharp acidity and a tannic memory. Amazing. The fruit is manifested in the aftertaste. A wine for aging but still really round at this time.
