  Decanted for 2 hours. Bottle was coated with sediment that had formed a layer of skin that was adhered to the inside of the bottle. Mature nose, a little pruned and showing dusty rose, citrus and dried fruits. Saline infused palate, tannic and slightly burly texture. Deep fruit with a bit of menthol, and a long tangy and tannic finish.

  Purple modern style barolo with hint of vanilla. Aging well, deep, medium to full bodied. Fruit filled with firm but balanced tannins. Long finish. Top flight barolo.

  Tannins still dominate this wine. Hope they’ll Integrate with the fruit that’s left but I’m not so sure
