From 375cc. My first btl of this in 6 years, having been working on these for about a decade. This is a really nice and perfectly correct (now aged) right banker. Wood is not shy here. Very international and not exactly nuanced or deep, but no denying this is yummy stuff.

Pnp at dinner. Big full ripe Merlot. Plum, cassis, tobacco, cherries, leather and some Bordeaux dust. Lots of sediment so the last inch didn't get drunk. Seems people either love or hate the very ripe '09 vintage. We have come to appreciate these minor Chateau in this vintage. Nice qpr on release.

'09 '10 '11 vertical. A favorite petit chateau. 100% old vine merlot that spends little time in wood. Ripe vintage, perhaps a bit overipe. Still plenty of fruit, red berries and stewed plums, medium to full bodied with enough fruit and tannins to continue to hold for my taste.

From bottle previously coravined 9 months ago, this was corked. I have had this happen a couple of times now when using the coravin and then storing the bottles for a period of time. I will now be sure to disassemble the thoroughly clean the coravin needle from here out.
