Took a chance on picking this up for $15 and wasn't disappointed. Held up amazingly well for a 19-year old wine. Medium bodied. Still plenty of red fruit, with prominent cola and some spice. I've had some of Lynmar's older Quail Hill Chards as well as Pinots and they all seem to age wonderfully.

Very Burgundy like nose with hints of anise and bacon, more of the same on the palate, candy like fruit, lovely to taste, lovely anise on the long finish. tasted blind, a real surprise when revealed. Clear cut winner to me.

At Lynmar, five vintages tasted, part of Pinot Noir Festival, my wine of the tasting, I bought two bottles, nose of bacon, sweet, red cherry fruit, and a touch of earth, medium/big body, lovely sweet pinot noir taste, almost elegant, with a long, long finish that needs four years to peak.
