Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 87 points

  • Bright in color; white gold with green reflections. Very vegetal notes on the nose and on the palate, fine herbs, but also bone-dry and a bit cumbersome. Tannins play an important role in this unusual Riesling. Peter Jakob Kühn was the first top winemaker in Germany to consistently focus on biodynamics in the vineyard and maceration on white wine. Today, his Rieslings are their own world and belong to the absolute top in Germany, in the middle of the 2000s he was still in a phase of adjustment.
