Yellow gold color. Classic sort of "cat-piss" nose to this, with a grassy note and some lime/kiwi elements, and a little fresh herb. Surprisingly dense on the palate, with a slight oiliness to the texture, although it's not really full-bodied -- just more so than most of the new world sauv blanc i've had (maybe it's the semillion?). Out of balance, though: the acidity here overwhelms the fruit. This actually works well when you drink it with food, but on its own it's too biting. Paired well with some sauteed fish and a salad with bleu cheese, but after the food was gone I didn't want anymore.
