This wine is holding together well. Hasn't started to brick at all. Classic Paloma. Special bottle that I bought from Barbara Richards years ago. I stopped by her house when she was pruning the vineyard. Such a friendly and classy lady.
this was right in the middle of the Paloma merlot flight and while it was really very good, the better and worse were more memorable. I wish I had more to say but all the Paloma merlot were examples of fine CA Merlot that aren't too sweet or completely over the top.
Notes of plums, dried fig, dark cassis and dried thyme, palate has some nice freshness with slightly bitter tannin popping from time to time and some decent bitter milk chocolate and cocoa notes , will revisit next year
