Drank at dinner in Mexico! Not a bad bottle of wine for the price! Good structure, good fruit, finish kind of dropped off, but overall a decent bottle of wine.

Dark ruby with a fair amount of thinning at the rim, on the nose, this has medium intensity raspberry, cranberry, vanilla creme, clove, and cinnamon. On the palate, the attack is sweet and delicious, rising to a fairly tannic mid-palate, with good depth and substantial dryness. The palate adds a little bit of an herbal element, with parsley and a trace of mint on the medium-long finish. Overall, this is a nice effort, and very much worth the under-$16 CT average value. At five years of age from harvest, it is quite ready to drink now, but I'm guessing it has another five to go. Nice wine.

Smells like eggshell, turmeric, eggplant, chevre, allspice. Tastes of raspberry popsicles, fresh asiago, herbs. Very creamy, round, no bite. Gamey and almost salty.

Opened this bottle right after Crossroads Talisman, can immediately tell it's much lighter than Talisman, lacking the complexity, leaner on palate. Usual S. America Cab with green note. Okay wine nothing special, bit heady.

High in acidity and not much depth. Not worth the price...
