Pnp. A matt garnet. Initially a bit tight, needs about 45 min in the open bottle. Nice nose, even though not the most expressive, with earth, dark fruit and spices, nice balance on the palate with still juicy and round dark fruit matching the earthiness, fine to medium tannins, medium finish. 91-92

Followed a 2000 Dujac Clos de la Roche and didn't suffer from it. Intense sappy darker fruit on the nose--great depth to the nose. Fills the mouth and finishes long. Not as sauvage as I'd expect for NSG. really nice wine. Drinks great now with minimal air and should hold for a long time.

2014 Tree Lighting Party (Morrell Wine, 1 Rockefeller Plaza): The nose was exuberant and rich, almost pulling you in with dark fruits. Savory herbs, a hint of roasted meat and minerals. Still youthful on the palate with dark red fruit, which was round yet fresh, followed by soil and mineral tones. The finish showed tremendous depth with dried berry, dusty spice, soil and herbs. It just seemed to go on and on with a youthful tug at the senses.

4 Days 4 Great Events and lots of Parker Points; 11/14/2014-11/18/2014 (Paris & London): Dark in colour. The nose isomer from the start, good dark fruit side, light smoky . On the palate it started of tight with grippy tannin almost sharp but post like an hour it relaxed and evolved into a well round wine. Not Mr complexity but a very nice wine nonetheless . 92

With some air this really comes around. Solid dark cherry fruit with nice cut and a very nice finish. Give it an hour. A-
