Hardly any mature notes yet. Still a baby. Very polished and refined vs the CSJ. Could've used more air as the wine was still waking up!

Lafon Montrachet vertical with some great champagne and reds. (Four Seasons, Minneapolis, MN): Tasted alongside the '01 and '02. Big wine, red fruited, cherries and spice. Some floral notes. Excellent structure, but still elegant style. Nice finish. My favorite of the three.

Beautifully perfumed red fruit just coats the tongue with tart fruit and hoisin spice. An oh fuck me this is so good!
