Just OK, more wood than I expected, properly tart but still a little flat with slightly sweet finish. Not bad despite all the complaints, just uninteresting.

A deep ruby color, dark for a typical Barbera with scents of cherry and touch of earth. Nice acidity on the palate making it a very food friendly wine. Tannins are not very noticeable. Overall a very enjoyable wine to have with a weeknight dinner.

Not a ton going on but the acidity makes this a decent food wine. Fairly well balanced.

quality everyday barbera. Fruit forward and food friendly with plenty of acid. Not on the top tier of barbera but a reasonable qpr at $15
