Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • As good a day as any to pop this one. Pours with a weak mousse and aroma is a bit woodsy. A deeply golden almost tawnied yellow color spills. Full on the palate with mild carbonation and good acidity. Flavors of stonefruit, lemon drops, and apple pie with some oak creeping up on it. The finish is nice with lingering fruit and oak. Overall: it's definitely on it's down swing but still enjoyable and working well with my cheese platter.
